Cricket | Tiled

All BBL & International Venues

Tiled spec takes a piece of creative and repeats it across areas of the LED Ribbon. Using the tiled spec only requires creative to be made in three sizes, which is then repeated across the seating bowl.

Perimeter 1 and Perimeter 2 are both used on the field level. Given the End Of Wicket moves by match, the number of pixels square of the wicket varies, so either the 2100 or 2500 tile will be used depending on the total size. If both sizes need to be used, they will always be separated by the End Of Wicket and will never touch.

In case of a takeover (covering End Of Wicket), then only one of these sizes will be used. Which one is dependant on the venue.

Tiled LED dimensions & Formats

See below considerations to ensure your content displays effectively across stadium LED ribbons

To ensure maximum brand exposure, ensure the logo is visible at all times.
Using the maximum pixel height for logos + text will ensure your message is legible.
Asset height is limited, so where possible avoid a stacked logo/message and use a landscape version.
Use big, bold fonts, italic or thin fonts are hard to read on LED.
Dark background colours are the most effective. White/light coloured backgrounds don’t translate well to the TV audience.
All laterally moving objects should appear seamlessly to move from one banner to the next.
Loop your animation so the start/end points are the same.
A slight scroll on an otherwise static Tiled LED is recommended.
Make your message memorable. Often the most memorable animations are the simplest.
